Application of Computer-Based Training (CBT) and Multimedia in Professional Audio

Document Thumbnail

This paper uses available multimedia techniques to demonstrate that it is possible to take complex and sophisticated engineering concepts and make them accessible to an audience who may not have the educational background to comprehend advanced engineering principles. A laptop computer is used to access a large database with text, line drawings, photographs, sound samples, and other media elements. It shows that learning can be made available anywhere on demand, tailored to a wide-target audience, and that it encourages interactivity while adjusting to varying modes of perception.
