A Comparison Between STI and RASTI Speech Intelligibility Measurement Systems

Document Thumbnail

A comparison between computerized techniques for measuring STI and RASTI is made. The measurements are made under idealized controlled conditions and highlight the differences in results that can occur. The results show that while good agreement between the techniques can be achieved, weighting factors and time windowing can lead to significant errors.
