This paper describes a 120-dB (A-weighted) dynamic range, 96-kHz, stereo 24-bit analog-to-digital converter designed for high-end digital audio applications. This A/D converter includes a seventh-order delta-sigma modulator, a two-stage decimation filter, a calibration processor, a low-group delay filter, a high-pass filter, and a programmable psychoacoustic noise-shaping filter. The device operates on a single 5-V supply.
