Nonlinear error correction for a horn transducer using a Volterra filter is described. The predistortion process uses multidimensional linear filtering of the Volterra filter kernels to remove aliasing products and reduce band limiting of the correction signals. Examples demonstrate correction of the second- and third-order nonlinearities, and the results are applied to issues of accuracy and practical implementation.
