Audio Amplifier Efficiency and Balanced Current Design-A New Paradigm

Document Thumbnail

Amplifier topology determines the set of problems the designer must solve in order to produce the desired performance in such areas as sonic accuracy, reliability, and efficiency. The Balanced Current design offers new tools to address these needs and produce a compact, high-powered amplifier capable of driving demanding loads for extended periods using only passive coding. Measurements demonstrate substantial advantages in energy utilization over conventional class B, G, and H designs.
