We present algorithms for enhancement of musical signals degraded by additive impulsive and background noise. The impulsive noise is detected in the different scales of the wavelet transform. The choice of the particular transform depends on the noise and music characteristics. To process the background noise we design a constrained Wiener filter with a special reference noise estimate.
