Producing a high sound pressure level the horn driver system also creates a high quantity of distortion often reaching a value of more than 25% -30%. The causes of the dominant nonlinear mechanisms were investigated and the equivalent circuit of the horn compression driver was expanded. The nonlinear lumped parameters were described by a power series expansion. A nonlinear differential equation was derived and solved by the Volterra series expansion.
