Recording Control Rooms for Symphonic and Organ Music

Document Thumbnail

Two recently finished recording control rooms will be described. They are situated in a newly reconstructed historic building and will be owned by the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. The basic problem was limited space and low frequency performance. With the use of a proprietary computer simulation technique (see preprint No. 3027, AES 90th Convention), a solution for excellent, low frequency monitoring in the allocated space was found and has been implemented. Measuring results will also be presented to show the prediction power of the simulation technique used.
