A new technology of psychoacoustic audio processing under computer control is described which can perform loudness enhancement, aural effects, stereo simulation, multiband compression, equalization, expander, etc. From a personal computer screen, using RS 232 bus, this universal processor is modified in real time. How the perceived sensation of sound quality is enhanced by this device is described.
