Efficiency of Impulsive Noise Detection in Audio Recordings Using the Adaptive Filter Method

A theory of impulsive noise detection involving the use of adaptive filtering is presented. The method is used for click detection in old gramophone recordings. The aim of the work is an evaluation of the detection efficiency for different kinds of music signals corrupted by impulsive noise.
