A Multiprocessor DSP System for Digital Audio

Document Thumbnail

A multiprocessor DSP-system (MPDSP) has been developed for digital audio-especially binaural room simulation. MPDSP is a flexible stand-alone system consisting of DSP-boards with a bus arbiter, global memory, AES/EBU, and ADC/DAC boards-all connected to a multiprocessor bus in a 19-in rack. An on-board debugger/monitor system for multiprocessor use has been made, turning the system into a complete development system. All communication is driven from one RS232 line.
