With the use of widely available DSP, one can dramatically improve the sonic performance of multiway loudspeakers using standard drivers. Therefore one must clearly understand how a multiway loudspeaker works, or how it should work. Design of the DSS 930 will be discussed in this paper with special emphasis on the unique crossover behavior and bass reproduction.
