For several years, the Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company has been carrying on research in high density magnetic recording and related fields. One objective of this program was the marketing of a stereo tape cartridge system for recording and replaying high fidelity music in the home. The result of this effort, the Revere Stereo Cartridge System, is already being sold in some areas, and will soon be available throughout the United States.
