Understanding Audio Analgesia

Audio analgesia is that use of sound which produces relief from pain, but not necessarily sensation. Because sensation persists in response to a stimulus that might normally cause pain, we must explore various aspects of pain as it relates to this field. Theories concerning the mechanism of audio analgesia are discussed.
