Demonstrated will be a computer-based interactive atlas of histology featuring high-resolution digitized color images, pop-up dialog boxes with textual descriptions, and a digital audio glossary providing the correct pronunciation of object names. The atlas runs on Apple Macintosh computers equipped with 8-bit color displays and 16-bit Audiomedia boards. Discussed are some general issues of a multimedia project and interface design.
