When a loudspeaker test fails, there will always be doubt whether the loudspeaker was bad, the measurement equipment was poorly adjusted, or if the acoustics in the test boxes had changed. This paper suggests a comprehensive system for product testing of loudspeakers where all calibration is placed in a single component, called a calibration unit. Furthermore, this system gives the possibility of combining different kinds of measurement environments by the use of this calibration unit.
