The Layer III PC card is the most powerful audio compression card available, according to ISO/MPEG Layer II and III. All data rates, audio modes, and sampling frequencies can be programmed from a PC. This full-duplex PC card can be used for file transfer and real-time transmission from and to the hard disc or real-time transmission via ISDN by using a terminal adapter. AES/EBU, SPDIF, and 2xx.21 interfaces are on the card.
