Differential Head-Worn Microphones for Music

Many musicians need a head-worn microphone with good sound quality, superior gain before feedback, and isolation from ambient sounds. Recently, a differential microphone has been designed to meet these needs. This paper discusses the design goals, choice of polar pattern, and testing.
