The directivity behavior of loudspeaker systems through the crossover region is not well documented. An analysis technique has been developed using a commercial software package with the ability to understand mathematical equations. For sources fed by crossover networks, the directivity through the crossover region is analyzed. Results are presented graphically for various orders of crossover networks, two-way systems with one tweeter and woofer, and one tweeter and double-woofer configurations.
