Real-time management of sound reinforcement systems has been gaining acceptance. Prior knowledge of the capabilities and limits of the loudspeaker and measurement system is necessary to perform safe and effective correction of spectral imbalances. Parameters used in the decision-making process of what to equalize and what not to equalize are discussed.
