Design of an Optimum Filterbank for High Quality Subband Audio Coding

In this paper a filter bank for high quality subband audio coding is presented. The filter bank has no amplitude or phase distortion and is therefore 'exact reconstructing.' The quantization noise introduced into one subband is not dispersed over the whole frequency range.
