Simple to Operate Digital Time Varying Filters

Document Thumbnail

Analog synthesizers had very easy-to-operate filters. Whereas many digital structures exist, very few are as easy to operate as analog Voltage Control Filters were. We have selected two structures, state variable and all pass. The structures are introduced, the transfer functions are derived, the advantages and drawbacks are listed. These structures have been tested in real time with fast and continuously varying controls.
