In the field of digital audio, it has generally been accepted that only change in code affects sound quality. However, different systems of equipment and medium provide appreciably different tone characters. This paper describes an analysis of digital audio signal transmission to study why there exists differences in tone quality between different systems, and method for improving digital audio tone quality.
