With the increasing interest in noncircular pistons for the radiation of sound, a method is sought to predict their behavior. This paper uses the fundamental theory of mutual interaction of points on the surface of a rectangular piston mounted in an infinite baffle to solve, by numerical methods, the radiation impedance functions for any aspect ratio of the piston.
