The CAP 340 M processes digitized audio signals in real time using a 16 + 3 bit input format and internal 32-bit floating-=point format. This results in 110 dB I/O and 1500 dB internal processing dynamic ranges. The system is controlled by a host computer currently enabling 34 100th order linear phase FIR filters to be set up.
