Investigations of a computer-aided remixing facility for studio applications led to the design of an improved version of digitally assisted system. The designed version takes advantage of an Apple Macintosh computer provided with standard interface. A block diagram of the designed system circuits is presented in the paper, software assumptions are described, and operational features are discussed. Results of the preliminary testing of the system operation are reported.
