Closed-boxes, vented-boxes, and passive-radiators are traditionally analyzed using different models. Here system performance functions are derived from a single unified model and consequently they apply to any of these three system types. Separate vent or passive-radiator, absorption, and leakage loss parameters are retained in the derivation. An alignment generation procedure is described which applies to all three system types.
