This paper presents a sound field control system that can modify sound fields and shift sound images, smoothly synchronizing with on-screen images in real time. This system consists of a personal computer controlling digital sound field controllers to create sound fields using signal processing based on VTR SMPTE time code, a synchronizer reading and relaying VTR SMPTE time code to the personal computer, and multiple speakers multi-dimensionally arranged.
