Nippon Mining Company, Ltd., succeeded in developing technology and know-how for commercial scale production of 6-Nines, i.e. purity of 99.9999% up, copper, and applying it as the conductors for audio equipment (e.g. speaker cables, interconnect cables, voice coils, phono cartridge, etc.). The quality of sound this 6-Nines copper makes is being recognized and drawing serious attention of ardent audiophiles.
