ESPI (Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry) is a valuable tool to visualize loudspeaker vibration. Using digital image processing, numerical data can be extracted from the ESPI video signal. A method id proposed to obtain vibration amplitude and phase data. this method avoids fringe counting, and can be automated. The application to sound pressure evaluation is discussed.
