Three-Dimensional Displays of Spectra Representation for Duration-Modulated Pulses

Document Thumbnail

The Bennett method, which, to this point, has been used for calculating the spectra of Class D amplifiers is discussed, including its disadvantages. The frequency spectra are derived by a new method for single-ended and push-pull amplifiers using one-sided and two-sided natural modulation. The respective non-linear distortion caused by the combination components occurring in the acoustic range are used to determine the minimum carrier frequencies necessary for various quality groups of Class D amplifiers.
