We developed a professional 8 IN/8 OUT digital mixing console which can be directly interfaced to digitasl VTRs and various types of digital recorders and has a built-in automation capability with touch-sensitive 100mm faders using various kinds of signal processing LSIs. Several units can be cascaded to configure a larger console. This will be widely used in applications such as recording, post-production, broadcasting, etc.
