Fast Response and Distortion Testing

Document Thumbnail

The paper will discuss high speed methods to test the amplitude response, phase response and distortion of audio equipment and links. Both harmonic and intermodulation distortion products may be measured. The signal may be transmitted and acquired in one second, producing quasi-real time measurements. Results may be displayed in real time or viewed off line if desired. Measurement results on typical equipment will be compared with those obtained using conventional techniques.
