This paper describes an environment for audio signal processing and music synthesis that is based on some of the latest advancements in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) design tools. The environment allows audio processing and synthesis systems to be graphically designed and entered as block diagrams and then automatically programs a modular and expandable set of DSP microprocessors to implement the system with MIDI control.
