Catchwords and vogue-ish components designed to impress customers and inflate sales do nothing to further our industry's professional public image. Properly educated sound contractors must understand their acoustic environment through scientific measurement and analysis. Products must be selected whose application satisfy the laws of nature, the customer, the public, and advance the audio profession through ethical, not bottom line considerations.
