An audio system is proposed for personal teleconferencing. One sound reflective ellipsoidal screen faces the attendee such that his speech is focused on a microphone behind him. A second screen lies behind the microphone. A loudspeaker is placed at one focal point of the second screen while the attendee's position lies at the other. Howling and echo are virtually eliminated.
