The increased prevalence of audio cassettes has necessitated the development of high-volume duplication methods, and while greater economy remains a primary manufacturing objective, improved reproduction quality decisively enhances the value of the final product. A number of techniques shall be discussed for achieving a level of quality appropriate to the highest grades of tape in use today.
