We have developed digital signal processing LSIs and peripheral ICs to be used in a rotary-head digital audio tape recorder (R-DAT). Used in a set, these LSIs allow a powerful error correction system suited to the special features of the R-DAT format to be realized as well as various functions for professional and consumer use.
