Acoustic Transfer Impedance (ATIM) {or Inertance(ATIN) } and Acoustic Load Impedance (ALIM) {or Inertance (ALIN)} are suggested to be measured and used for analysis of the behavior of sound sources in rooms, below the Schroeder frequency. Measuring methods are discussed and some measuring results are shown. Two simple ways of computing ATIM and ALIM {or ATIN and ALIN} in rectangular enclosures are also mentioned. The aim of the paper is to suggest the impedance concept as a basis for better interpreting the performance of sound sources in rooms at low frequencies.
