It is well known, that in summer 1987 the 14th Students Sport Games - Universiade will take place in Zagreb - Yugoslavia. For this purpose a certain number of sport objects (stadium, halls, Swimming pools) are being built. There are three kinds of halls according to capacity: big ones up to 10,000 spectators, medium - up to 3,000 spectators and small - up to 1,000 spectators as for stadiums; we have a big one up to 70,000 spectators and several smaller. For all those objects acoustical and electroacoustical projects are finished or nearly finished. Since the acoustical treatments of sport hall are very expensive and in some cases quite impossible to carry out, a special efforts have been dedicated to electroacoustical projects. That means it is important to choose adequate electroacoustical equipment to satisfy all demands on quality of transmitted speech and music (intelligibility, sound level, equality of distributed sound etc). During the construction of objects various acoustical measurements were taken (background noise levels, reverberation time etc). Various manufactures of electroacoustical equipment offered solutions with their equipment. After installing and adjusting of electroacoustical systems objective and subjective measurements will take place.
