Multitrack digital mixing, recording, and editing on computer disks plus sampling, synthesis, parameter tracking, and digital signal processing may be performed on one affordable real-time computer, with related user interfaces. A modular architecture allows expansion as budget permits, even a single module may be run standalone. This programmable signal processor will accommodate virtually any algorithm; and 24-bit multipliers with 50-bit accumulators provide professional audio quality.
