Power handling is an important consideration affecting loudspeaker system design. In a multiway loudspeaker it is desirable to determine how much of the total input power reaches each driver. Numerical integration yields power transmission data for various crossover slopes, types, and frequencies. Results from these calculations facilitate comparison of different crossover possibilities as regards power transmission through the crossover network. Results are given for different input spectra.
