Minimum Requirements for Reference Listening Rooms

Document Thumbnail

The unification of closely tolerated listening conditions at the studio end is an essential prerequisite for a well-defined subjective assessment and quality control, using internationally unified methods, of listening events in the reproduction of sound signals, in the interest of ensuring the international program exchange and as a precondition of constant quality conditions for the listener in the living room. This paper gives the argument and the proposal for a recommendation for reference listening rooms.
