Network comprises a multiplicity of contiguous filters. The cross-over points of the responses of adjacent filters are at the 3 db down value. The inputs to all filters are connected together and their outputs terminate in an adder circuit. By providing adjustable gain for each filter, a variable transmission characteristic is achieved. The filters were chosen to be Gaussian.
