In recent years, the use of accepted engineering practices to design and install commercial sound systems has become more widespread in the sound and communications fields. Seminars, classes, articles, literature, technical papers, and experience have all attempted to educate and assist the sound system contractor to provide better sound and communications systems for his customers. Unfortunately, much of this information has not been passed on to the general public, at least not in a form that the public can easily understand. To resolve this problem, one successful approach utilized by this writer is the use of seminars and audio-visual presentations.
