There are two types of tone cabinets used in conjunction with electronic organs. One is the common type unit which will faithfully reproduce the organ generated musical tones with a minimum of distortion. The second type is a tone cabinet which can be considered as an additional part of the organ tone generating system. In this case, the musical signal from the organ is modulated by a -Doppler Shift,- thus providing a vibrato effect for the organ.
