Doppler Type Organ Tone Cabinet

Document Thumbnail

There are two types of tone cabinets used in conjunction with electronic organs. One is the common type unit which will faithfully reproduce the organ generated musical tones with a minimum of distortion. The second type is a tone cabinet which can be considered as an additional part of the organ tone generating system. In this case, the musical signal from the organ is modulated by a -Doppler Shift,- thus providing a vibrato effect for the organ.
