Many churches fall into the category of having a large internal volume with little or no absorbing surfaces. Usually the parishioners of these churches are very pleased with the sound of the organ and possibly the choir, but are very displeased with the difficulty of understanding the sermons. This paper describes a modern solution to the problem of understanding. The solution does not affect the organ sound.
