The classical methods of parameter determination, which combine electrical, acoustical and mechanical (static and dynamic) measurements, do not always yield a self-consistent set of values. Various methods are compared and alternatives suggested in an attempt to improve the accuracy. A more precise equivalent circuit representation of the mechanical losses of the suspension system is also discussed.
