Linear-Drive Headphones with Eardrum Response have the same pressure level characteristics and the same phase response as are perceived when listening to a speaker system. In this paper the headphones are presented, consisting of linearly driven transducers with printed voice coil diaphragms and acoustic circuits including double cavaties for controlling the desired responses, which have twin peaks in the frequency response as measured with a dummy head.
