A system for measuring slew rate of audio signals will be described. The system uses commercially available test equipment enabling easy duplication by other interested workers. Measurements of slew rates on several discs, both standard and direct disc recordings, will be presented. Additionally, several important relations between maximum slew rate level and bandwidth for a band limited signal are derived.
